Heart & Sole Reflexology

The sole path to healing the mind, body and spirit

Welcome to Waimate...

Waimate is the centre of the South Island of New Zealand - situated halfway between Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown.

Waimate is about 10 kilometres inland and 47 metres above sea level. The town boasts over 50 shops and follows an Edwardian theme with a collection of early 1900's buildings lining the main street.

With tourism on the increase, Waimate's economy attracts independent travellers to the area and several major events are organised annually to attract people into the district.

Knottingley Park is a great place for cricket, horse events, kennel club shows, camping, picnics and walking. There is a BBQ available (50c coin operated). Knottingley Park also has a replica of an early bush hut built in 1864 and has an extensive playground. Knottingley Park is situated on Waihao Back Road, via Gorge Road

The Norman Kirk Memorial Swimming Pool is an outdoor heated pool with temperatures between 28-32 degrees. The pool complex offers plenty of seating, grassed area, BBQ area, shaded paddling pool for toddlers and shop. During the holidays the pool runs fun days for the children.
